How to cancel a registered marriage under Hindu law

Both my parents are govt job holders,suddenly my father got expired and i was told to apply for his job. For applying his job i need no earning member certificate,so when i asked the r.i he told to submit marriage certificate,so i requested one of friend tr marriage she said okay,but we actually did not get married in real we just submitted the photo copies as if we r married in Hindu religion formality.i got the marriage certificate but later on if did not get the job.now my question is,is my marriage valid,how can i cancel my registered certificate? My friend also needs a clarification regarding how to cancel it

To get a marriage certificate you asked your friends help and both of you all got ur marriage registered ?? and now you want to cancel it ? apply for divorce in that case and you can cancel it by apply.

If you only have submitted some fotos and declared before some office to have been married, you will not have a registered marriage certificate. Have you got married in a sub-registrar`s office ? Is it registered there ? if so, you should file for divorce.

When you get marraiage certificate from register office filling it and signed it is presumed according to law married and where ever u produce it become documents so if produced in any govt office it is considetred document so file mutual Diivorce and get it or else in future real wife of u and real huaband of ur friend will have two divorce case.
