How to apply for a divorce and how will the procedures be

I belongs to a christian RC family..my spouse is an engineer working abroad..we get married on jan 2016..v lived together for 1 month.. within that,i understood his character. iam mentally and verbally harmed by him daily via directly,phone and all..I can't stay with him anymore ..iam not even getting a peace of mind..how should I proceed for a divorce?
If both of you wish to get separated it would be better to file the joint petition before the Hon'ble Family court.If your spouse is not ready , you can file the same. Approach a lawyer for the further clarifications.

you Must file a divorce petition under Christian Marriage Act, from the Conserned Family Court. And also get maintenance from your husband, for thatpurpose you must file an MCpetition U/S 125 Cr pc, you Can file recovery petition against ur husband

If you are married under Special Marriage Act, you can straight away file a petition for divorce under the ground of cruelty in the Family Court of your area. After filing your divorce OP, it will be posted for counseling before the counsellor at Family Court after 6 months and not settled it will be referred to court for trial.
