Under Hindu law, a husband has a duty to maintain you and pay for general expenses. Like most civilized places in the world, your property is yours and your husband's property. And there is also a common and undivided share in a matrimonial property. If you feel you are entitled to any division in the share or property, you should speak to him. It is only in the case of divorce that such divisions are made considering all the facts and circumstances of the case.

As per law in this regard total salary of husband shall be devided in total memyers. One extra share shall be given to husband.
For example there are four persons in the family. Husband, wife and two children as on and a daughter if all the three are dependent upon husband. In that case total salary shall be considered to have been decided in five parts. One parts to all three persons in wife and third rent. Remaining two parts shall be given to husband as per law.

If you are not earning any penny.. you are entitled for same life style decent one as that of your husband. if you don't have any issues (children) you will be entitled for one third share of the husband's income.. you will get a share in the husbands property... but if its self acquired property he has all rights to transfer to any one he wishes....
