How is alimony calculated in hindu marriage? If you are unemployed. Living in a house gifted from your father. And living separately from your wife... And living separately from your wife for 8 years. Have a child too....want a mutual consent but alimony is not reachable.

Alimony in mutual consent is mutually decided by the party ie husband and wife.as ur matter u r telling that u r not working and also not have any property then how u will get the consent of ur wife for mutual consent divorce that is totally depand upon u.thnx

tHERE IS NOT CALCULATOR formula for calculating the alimony for it. The same is calculated on consensus of both parties. if unemployed minimum wages will have to be presumed atleast . The court can grant maintenance assuming min. wages but in case of alimony for mutual consent , the court would also try to arrive at a middle point and will not force. but i suggest that keep negotiating something would be arrived at.
if the child is with you the amount would be on lesser side and if the child is mother than amount would increase as the maintenance of child and her marriage etc would also have to be considered.
