If you wish to go for the settlement then you can always apply for an application for mediation before the concerned court in which your case is pending. And if there's no scope of living together then rather than stretching the relationship you should go with mutual divorce because it's cost effective and ends up in a maximum of 6 months.

if you want to settle down the matter with your wife, then you have to talk to her and the amount will be decided after having words and taking into consideration the expenses incurred by the family of your wife in the marriage

As per law, the wife can seek maintenance if she is unable to maintain herself or if she is earning but her income is of a meagre amount. however, in your case both of the parties have income of approximately the same level hence, you will not have to pay the maintenance.

It ranges from 1/5th or 1/3rd of the husband's total salary and is paid in the form of a lump-sum amount. If the wife is working and earning well, in that case, her earnings are taken into consideration along with the husband's earnings
