My parents have been forced to a very luxury wedding inspite of saying being girls parent they spent more than what can actually and the wish list from inlws has been increasing with different demands and now I want to know how I can't the amount as when I tried to settle in for patchup my husband doesn't want to come from usa he flewed after a month of wedding and my in-laws also dnt want me back. Please suggest
Groom is from USA , so your parents agreed to their demands with an intention that its the groom with whom you shall be living with. The groom's parents might be old fashioned and if a little more is invested then the groom' parents will be happy, and seeing this groom will be happy and eventually you will be happy.
I acknowledge the fact that you are hurt inside and you feel like unwanted by your husband, in-laws.
You seem to be a bride who is in the initial years of marriage. I strongly suggest you to talk to your parents and then with the counselor and then a lawyer. If you directly approach a lawyer things will get disconnected very badly. Basically I want you to look for amicable options because at the end of the day it's not the in-laws it's the groom who should matter a lot.
What Lawyers donot talk is, most women will go through a depression after the divorce. I want you to avoid it.
Yes, You can recover every single expense spent on from showing your photograph, sweets during their first vist to your home, engagement expenses, wedding expenses, every single gift giften/dowry, every single gift you received and even if you have received it for a photograph you can claim those ornaments under Streedhan, you are entitled for an alimony, monthly maintenance and many other things. You can file cases on Dowry, Cruelty (mental cruelty is also cruelty). So dont worry, you always have this option but use it only if the groom doesn't want to compromise with you and your parents. I am telling you this again, its the groom's mentality that you should be worried about not the in-laws.
Think about it and make decisions wisely. We, Lawyers are always there for you.
hi if there is harassement from the inlaws then you need to file domestic violence case against harassement and could demand ckmpensation and for torture for physical amd mental cruelty and also for other reliefs
