29-Mar-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hi, we seperated in 2010, 2 boys live with me. They were 6&9 then. In 2011, she filed for rcr and IR and child custody. In response, I filed for divorce citing cruelty and desertion in 2013. After long mediation process, a lumpsum amount was agreed and mutual consent filed in 4/2015. 50% of the agreed amount plus jewelry was also given. After the mandatory 6 months, she backtracked and refused to sign the final papers. Judge has ruled on IR and custody. She gave up custody and I'm paying IR. The case never seems to end. Keeps getting adjourned or when the judge has all the information and is ready, getting transferred. I'm not sure I'm getting the best counsel either. This has ravaged me mentally as well as physically. Where do I go next? If there are any competent lawyers out there, who can take this case by the collar and whip it to a quick end, I will be most grateful. Putting this out here so that I will get the right counsel.

You seem to have gone through a lot of pain. It is the take home message when family dispute arises. You are no exception. I cannot comment on the competency of lawyers. Procedure of law is same for everyone. There seems to be lapse somewhere somehow. I need more details.

the court can grant from 6 months to 18 months cooling period the cooling period is given whether there is any possibility of reunion or not life is not interested in giving divorce then the petition will be automatically closed the mutual consent of no effect ka naam cable settlement to have a mutual consent to prove your friends are true way of advocates consent petition has no validity Britain otherwise the court things period in fit to continue or not until the period you can have the mutual consent petition alive Court denies if one party has not accepted the mutual consent it will dispose the petition
