From the facts stated, repeated verbal abuse towards you and your father, restriction on meeting parents, and interference in fulfilling your duty towards them can amount to mental cruelty under Section 13(1)(ia) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, which is a valid ground for divorce. You may issue a legal notice and thereafter file a petition for divorce in the Family Court. If harassment or abusive language is severe, you may also lodge a complaint under IPC provisions for criminal intimidation/abuse. Maintain records of messages, witnesses, or any proof of such conduct to support your case.

Your wife’s conduct may amount to mental cruelty under Section 13(1)(ia) of the Hindu Marriage Act, which can be a ground for divorce. Repeated abuse towards you and your parents, restrictions on meeting them, and use of obscene language strengthen your case. Preserve call recordings, messages, and witness statements as evidence. You may also seek legal protection for your parents under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

You may initiate legal action for mental harassment and deformation against your wife under IPC provisions . Also seek protection for your right to support and visit your parents by approaching the family court . Maintain all evidence of abuse language and restrictions for strong support to your case .
