Hello..As you have already filed a contested case u/s 13(1)(a) HMA now its depend upon the grounds of the case and how effectively it can be proved. She has all the rights to defend herself. Thank you.

If you had filed Divorce petition and she had filed sec 9 then you are advised to contest both cases efficiently with the help of your lawyer.
bad behaviour with husband and parent in laws amounts to cruelty if proved, so, prove her cruelty, which is the only and best option.

First of all provide your petitions copy (Sec 9 and Sec 13). In that I want to see the grounds of the both petition. After go through the both petition I am able to give any suggestions to you.
Regarding blackmail you will file a criminal complaint against her and her family members.

Hi
Along with the matrimonial litigations you can file cases against your wife for causing mental harassment and agony which are the criminal provisions. After the jufmdgment of hon'ble supreme court in Arnesh Kumar vs. State of Bihar courts have been 8nclined towards harassment caused to husband's in matrimonial cases
