Girl was below 18( 1 month less) at the time of marriage

I am a dnyaneshwar, i married in 2023, girl was below 18 at time of marriage and i was unaware and i dont want to continue with this marriage

with reference to your query please note that since the girl was below 18 at the time of her marriage the marriage is void. however as per law if she wants to continue the marriage she can continue the same or she can repudiate the same by filing to declare the marriage as void. you can also file a petition for declaration that the marriage is void. Regards

Well, you can be prosecuted for doing Child Marriage which is punishable and illegal in India under Sec 12 of the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006, if it gets proved, that, you have intentionally married a minor girl.
