Im Hindu..i have been married since 1yr.my wife fought with me and my family members before 4 months and to her place .due to their family shouting at us we dint talk each other for 4 months . Suddenly she lodged a police complaint and threatened myself and parents to accept for mutual divorce else face the police. But I didn't agree for divorce and twice I went to station for enquiry . Wife side creating false accusations on me tat i created cruelty and impotent and demanding for 2. 5 lakhs which they spent for marriage. How do I proceed I haven't done any mistake? And Is maintenance applicable if she is not working?
If you don't want divorce then you can file for restitution of conjugal rights which will save you from false complaints by wife. Let the police enquire and if any case is made you can face it to disprove it.

just file a case for restitution of conjugal rights and state what are the things done by your wife to you and what are the things spoilt by wife for living together so it is better to proceed to quote if you go to the court then they cannot give any false complaint against you in any police station or at any place if they also give any complaint the police station will refer the matter to the court
