FIR 498a is filed last two days back.

My husband is gay and harrased me alot for money..I have registered 498a against him but his family members are all police so will it affect my case..2. I have screenshot of his chats and record of asking for money. Will it be used as proof.. If he deleted those chats can we recover.

Hello law is equal for same and every citizen you don’t need to worry, if they have tried to hush up this case by paying money you can always maintain such record and present in court, if the chats are deleted police can recover it

You must add section for dowry prohibition act as well. If the police does not file FIR in the case, you can move before Magistrate Court under section 156(3) CrPC seeking directions from Magistrate to register FIR in the case and investigate.
