Am in overseas because of the work I need to file for a divorce, how to file it without being present? What are the advantages and disadvantages? Please help

It is a bit unique scenario. In principle, the parties to the case must appear before the court for the case to proceed. However, a power of attorney can appear for a party for limited purpose only. You must be available to make your appearance before the court on some fixed day. I need further details regarding your location in India, where you lived as family, etc.

you could not file any divorce without presence at India. Divorce is matrimonial issues and involved both parties are present at the time of court hearing. It is not just like that filing divorce from foreign countries. be present and file the case at India
