Hi.
I got married 8 years back. After the marriage there are frequent fights between my mother and my wife. They hate each other and never compromise with each other. Both keep their EGO on top.No respect for older people and no respect for indivifual. My wife dont want to live with family. She always wanted nuclear family.since my parents are old and not well so I need to keep them with me.I am always getting sandwiched between them.I always try to keep the bond between them but It never happened. Both of them are also not happy with me.On small diapute my wife has left the home and went to her mothers home town with my 3 years old daughter. She is not picking my Phones and not showing me my daughter to me.I requested her to come back and I will agree to all your points but now she is talking about mental torchure ,harrasment,Violance, mental harrasment bla bla that will take time.I want to get her back to my home Peacefully without involving any relatives.what should I do?
Hello! The legal remedies are such that you can file a suit for restitution of conjugal rights and the court will ask her a genuine reason to leave the house and just because there is a constant fight and arguments with in laws is not a sufficient reason to break down on a marriage and your wife will be directed to come back home. Also before that I would suggest that you, your family and your wife need a legal counseling, hire a lawyer and he/she can try and counsel both your wife and your parents in a way that they stop fighting. You can try this.
In that case, you appoint a Mediator for Out of Court Settlement between you and your Wife. However, your Wife needs to be ready to accept & appoint Mediator. Mediator will mediate the matter between the two of you and pass a Decision. That Decision has to be accepted by both the parties. If either party do not accept the decision of the Mediator, then Mediation will fail.
