Father thrown me & mother out of house and filed divorce

My father has thrown out me and my mother out of our house and he has filed divorce to my mother. He is also holding all my mother's belongings, finances and is torturing her. My mother went into depression and is very fearful to go against him. He now filed divorce to gain complete rights & controls of all my mother's belongings. nSo how can she fight the case and get her rights now. nKindly please guide us about how to go forward. nThank you.

File a complaint under Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act. Seek the interim maintenance from him. Face the divorce case with a good lawyer. There also your mother can claim interim maintenance. Your mother can get back her belongings with suitable alimony also.

It is an unfortunate situation but common these days. The only way to safeguard your mother is that she has to file a domestic violence case by which your mother can get relief from torture in the hands of your father and also protect her properties.
