Father hurt my mother severely and threatening of selling home

My father having illegal relationship with a lady and hurt my mom severely with knife and absconded. FIR file but he took advance bail. Our home is on his name, he is threatening us that he will sell or transfer the property to his brother. How can we protect our home?

Dear Client…. You have protection in domestic violence act…. Your mother must to file a Case against her husband and ask monthly maintenance through court you need furthermore clarification or doubts please call me thank you

Even if your house in the name of father, your mother have the right to reside in the same house hold, file a petition for residence protection under DV act and maintenance case U/s 125 CrPC. feel free to contact for any legal advice.

Immediately file a DV Petition before the Magistrate. Seek these orders: ✅ Section 17 – Right to shared household Even if property is in his name, you cannot be thrown out ✅ Section 19 – Residence Order Court can: Restrain him from selling / alienating / encumbering the house Direct him to provide alternate accommodation ✅ Section 18 – Protection Order Restrain him from threatening, contacting, or committing violence ✅ Section 23 – Interim ex parte order
