False love jihad case from female in a gym

I was going to a gym in which my trainer name was Faizal. I know Faizal from 2017 as I had previously joined his gym. There was a teacher for yoga there and on 15th March she got married to some Atharv Singh. I joined the gym on 10 March 2022. On 30 Aug 2022 gym closed and after some days the same yoga teacher gave a media statement that Faizal is Atharv Singh and he married by faking his identity. In this case Faizal family wants me to give a statement in police that you know him as Faizal. Is it safe for me to give the statement.

See if you have some such problem that you have to call the police for his testimony or to give a statement, then you do not go to it, other thing if there is any relation with the court or what the court says, then you have to Have to go and give your statement and if you don't know that thing then oppose it because if you don't protest then you may be in that you are coming there for you and statement you don't go

You have all the right to give or not to give any kind of verbal evidence u can deny the police to identify the person. Still if u want there is no harm in giving any bayan to police but in dat case to have to verify the same and have to put it on affidavit as well. Also you have to present before the magistrate in the court to verify and identify the person before the court.
