Fake 498A case by an woman who was thee legal wife of another person.

A Muslim woman who is the wife of another person has filed a 498A case on me . I am Hindu, married govt service holder having wife and a daughter. Se has filed fake case on me and my father claiming me as my husband and also claiming my father as her father in law. We are different from religion. She and her family have not came to my house for a second in their life. I have relation with the woman. She claimed me money which I have not paid. Then she did the same. The case is running in Burdwan

Seems a bit odd that a person with whom you have had no relationship will lodge a case against you for domestic violence. If that's the case and the investigation is still going on then you can approach the Police and apprise them of the fact or approach the Magistrate and if the Chargesheet is filed you can approach the Hon'ble High Court against the ChargeSheet.
