During the last few years I transferred a good portion of my income to my father, mother and brother' bank accounts.( some 2 -3 years ago). I married 7 months ago.I have some disagreements with my wife, if my wife files matrimonial cases against me. Then how much amount I may be needed to pay to her ( minimum and maximum best ESTIMATE) . marriage of only 7 months Courts generally award reasonable and lower maintenance in short marriages. CTC 36 lakh maintenance is based on net take home not CTC Money transferred to parents/siblings (2–3 years ago):these transactions are irrelevant and cannot be questioned. Permanent alimony (if divorce filed): For a 7-month marriage, the general range is ₹3–12 lakhs, depending on circumstances. Overall, your liability is manageable, and the court will not impose unreasonable amounts.

Hello first of all we need to understand the nature of cases your wife is threatening to file and the reasons behind the same. Further based upon the information it will be determined whether she is eligible for maintenance or not

We can understand your grief If you have a feeling that your wife can file a divorce case with other criminal cases (commonly practiced by wives) then you shall have a first mover approach and file a divorce petition in court stating the facts and circumstances. By this you can dodge the hefty amount of alimony if your wife demands it. Thank you

There is no straightjacket formula for calculating maintenance; it depends on several factors that aid the court in its determination. To provide precise advice, I need a detailed analysis of the facts and the specific grounds on which you anticipate your wife might file a case.

Alimony in India is not a fixed number. It depends upon several factors such as incomes of both the spouses, lifestyle during marriage, duration of the marriage, age and health of the parties as well as financial responsiblities. There is no maximum alimony defined in law.

Courts generally try to ensure a fair standard of living for both sides rather than impose an extreme figure. Typical amounts fall within a reasonable percentage of the earning spouse’s income, depending on circumstances.
