Ex-parte divorce order - Repeal in High court

15-Nov-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hi, I'm respondent in divorce case. An ex-parte order has been passed by family court suite to my absence at all hearings (ill-health). How can I repeal this order in the High court and how much would it cost? - my wife is willing to go for mutual consent if it doesn't take too much effort and cost (we are Christians)

Dear Sir, If final orders are passed then you have to approach High Court and get it quashed with the consent of your wife and either enter into mutual divorce by way of compromise in High Court itself or get it reminded and opened by setting aside such ex-parte order. Then you can file compromise application under Ordrr 23 Rule 1 of CPC.
