Enforcing a divorce order after 10 months of passing the order

17-Sep-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I am a Hindu, My marriage was dissolved after almost 5 years of contested divorce on the grounds of cruelty. During the divorce procedure my ex wife appeared for marking of documents only and did not show up for cross examination. I was cross examined and order was passed 10 months ago. Court has asked my ex to pay up some amount as a part of the order. How can I enforce the order and how much time will it take? Can there be complications during enforcement?

Order passed shall be subject to payment of the amount which can be deposited in the court Read the order carefully so that it can be obeyed according to the same As soon as you deposit the amount directed to pay to your ex wife separate execution is not necessary

Well, in order to get Court's Order enforced, you can file a case before the Execution Court. Execution Proceeding gets admitted as and when, the opposite party, in your case, your spouse doesn't respect and obey court's order. During the execution Proceedings, you will get the amount which Court has ordered her to pay by selling off her assets or putting putting her in Civil Prison if she intentionally chooses to not pay some amount to you as part of the Order passed against her.
