Dowry case by sister in law(from wife’s family)

10-Apr-2023 (In Divorce Law)
My sister in law(wife’s brother’s wife) has pressed charges against me u/s- 406/34/354/498a. Although I was not mentioned in the original FIR, IO added my name during investigation along with other members of wife’s family. I have cleared govt exam and after that police verification is pending. What should I do?

I would suggest you to go for immediate quashing of FIR in the High Court to clear your name as the case might stretch to any extent which would hinder you from joining the government service. For efficacious legal representation you may contact me.

Don’t worry, plz write a detailed reply to the concerned IO and take receiving of the said reply and also join in the investigation . If in any circumstances your name will be included in the memo of parties in the said complaint then court will issue summon in such situation you can challenge the summoning order issued against you .

As the complainant has given statement before the investigating officer for the the said offence. you have to face a criminal trial in court of law. Even if you have cleared givt service exam that doesn't mean that you are convicted. trial will take place which will be according to the evidence. Further, contact me for further clarification

in such a case you should write a complaint to DCP and acp of the concerned area stating the entire situation and also should mention that she is just using your name for the name sake ....for future references keep a copy of that if any problem arises you can show the application...and should also mention that if anything happens to my reputation etc she would be responsible
