My friends younger brother committed a mistake he visited a hookup site and got WhatsApp no of a girl who provides sexual service, video call and nude pictures of her on payment he paid her for nude pictures which he got and even asked her for sex but never went for that,but he suspected something was not right so he deleted the chat,pictures and her contact no.After 2 days he received message and call from a person who called himself SHO of a local police station and told him that they have caught the girl who was operating under different name and have recovered his contact no. And payment information from her mobile ,if he wants to remain same and does not wish any file to move against him he pay 2610 rupees to a send phone pay no, else for will be filled against him under 420 and other section as the girl was found pregnant and will be called for checkup(he didn't even meet the girl)nWhat should he do?

There is a high chance that the person who is calling himself as SHO is not SHO of any police station but a composed and plotted game between the girl to whom your brother paid and the person calling himself SHO. File a police complaint stafing the whole facts to SHO having the jurisdiction over the area

My sister in law(wife’s brother’s wife) has pressed charges against me u/s- 406/34/354/498a. Although I was not mentioned in the original FIR, IO added my name during investigation along with other members of wife’s family. I have cleared govt exam and after that police verification is pending. What should I do?

As the complainant has given statement before the investigating officer for the the said offence. you have to face a criminal trial in court of law. Hello, nI was in relationship with a girl last six years, recently she did police complain against me. When i came to know she was sexually engaged 3-4 guys including cousin i abused her. She also abused me a lot. I know two guys she did cheated them too. She and her's friend work as a professional gang. nnPlease suggest way to counter her complain. Whether she can file rape case against me? please suggest.

Yes she can file any type of complaint against you. the laws in are country women centric. you should also file a police complaint against her. Moreover, your case can be defended very easily as many courts have dealt with the cases with similar facts which are in your favor.

Yes, police officer have the power to let off someone accused under 354 IPC. It is the discretion of the police authorities to arrest a person. If the police officer is satisfied that the accused person will not interfere in the investigation and will join investigation whenever required.
