Sir, u must not avoid summons , u first take a anticipatory bail for you and your family, once you avoid summons, arrest warrant will be issued against you, so first contact a lawyer in that place and do the needful, once arrested it will be difficult and unnecessary headache and custody of jail.so act fast.

Domestic Violence case will be filed by the annoyed, harassed and tortured women in her matrimonial by her husband and his family members and against this she will file a DV case before the court to get justice. It is your respobsibility to attend when u have received summons or tell an advocate to watch proceeding so that u will come to know about it if exparte order passed against u to pay maintenance, seperate residence, any order which u have to pay and would be deducted in your salary through attachment so have a look on it or it would bee affected later.
