Domestic Violence procedure and divorce case

What is the procedure to file case for domestic violence.who should be approached lawyer or police? And can domestic violence case be submitted before a divorce case is filed.I am living separately from my husband since 3 months now. Completed 1 year of marriage in march only. Husband has not filed any divorce case yet but not ready for family discussion as well.i have suffered domestic violence from my in laws and husband is not taking any stand for me.so I do not want to be in this relation and want divorce with domestic violence case.also, can I request for maintenance before divorce case is filed?

Dear client yes you can file Application under domestic violence Act further there are provision for maintenance in the said Act. for divorce you need to file separate petition in the family court.

Hello there!

For the domestic violence case you will have to approach lawyer. you can file case against domestic violence before filling of divorce petition or you can do it simultaneously. surely you can ask for alimony or maintenance. It will depend upon your earnings and capacity to earn. Let me know if you want go with me. we will discuss it in detail

yes. you can go ahead with domestic violence case and file for divorce as well. in the domestic violence you can claim for maintenance, rent as well as compensation. as the husband is unresponsive you will gave to take legal recourse.
