Domestic Violence Medical Certificate

I am suffering from domestic violence. How soon i should get Medico certificate. Is there a duration on number of days within which i should have certificate.

if the violence that is meted out against you is of the kind for which you can obtain medical certificate then you should get immediately after such violence. but domestic violence includes many other things and proof of other kind will also be sufficient. there is no rule the time frame

for domestic violence there is no impedimnet or mandatory requirement of medical certificate you can file without it, but you have to prove what you stated in the evidence and the limitation for filing the petition is one year from the date of incident.
