Domestic Violence case and now after 6 years got a call from police

In 2016 - my wife and her parents filed a police complain about domestic violence and dowry against my parents and me. Later, due to mutual compromise, they said they withdrew the case. After six years, I got a call form police saying that I had to be present in front of the court and the case is still open. My wife said she has no idea how it came, and they have closed the case from their end. What is this process and what will happen next

Dear Sir please get certified copies entire case. No body will help you without documents. Get certified copies of entire order sheet also. Then come to my office. It you share your case number, Court address etc then I can help you to some extent instantly. Indian judiciary system is women savy. It seems your not withdrawn the case.

if the case is really close there is no chance that you get a call from the police now. this means the case has not been closed. you if you send across any reference to that closed case you can be a checked in the court records.
