Domestic violence and demands of money , mental torture
28-Oct-2024 (In Divorce Law)
My husband and my in laws have been torturing me for the last one and half years, we both were previously married. But I don't want a divorce. That's why I don't want to file criminal cases against him. If I ask help from women commission, will it go against me and will it pave a way to my husband to get a divorce easily ? Please suggest. Thanks
Dear Madam,
Your decision is correct. You must approach higher police officers like IPC SENIOR LADY officers who come to your aid warn your husband all the concerned. You wish to save the marriage. That is fine. But he seems not interested to continue the marriage so easily. You must also involves some NGOs to help you and given strict warning to your husband.
Any type of complaint by you against your husband even in State Commission if not proved will be considered as cruelty by you against him and he automatically gets a ground to divorce you. you can meet me to discuss what type of legal action you can take without giving him a ground for divorcing you.
