I truly understand how distressing this situation must be for you. Please remember — you are not alone and the law is fully on your side to protect you from such abuse and dowry demands. You can immediately approach the Women Police Station under the DV Act for protection, residence, and maintenance orders. The demand for ₹30 lakhs is a criminal offence under the Dowry Prohibition Act — a complaint can be filed for the same. You may also seek divorce on grounds of cruelty and harassment, if you wish to move forward legally. Your safety and dignity come first. I can assist you in preparing the complaint, legal notice, and protection request to ensure your rights are safeguarded.

You are facing clear domestic cruelty and unlawful dowry demand. Immediately file a Domestic Violence Complaint under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 for protection, residence, and maintenance. Also lodge a dowry harassment complaint under Section 498A IPC & Section 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act at the local police station or Women Police Station. You can also seek interim protection orders and monetary relief through the Magistrate Court. In case you wish to proceed for divorce, you can file for divorce on cruelty grounds and claim maintenance and return of stridhan. Do not tolerate abuse—law strongly safeguards your rights.
