does married earning wife have responsibilities to maintain husband

does wife as an govt employee earning women has responsibilities to maintain husband and dependents of family(inlaws) legally? are there any such judgement .
Dear Sir,
It is not so. The married employed women not required to maintain her husband and in-laws. Her earnings will be considered as streedhana and nobody can claim from it. If she voluntarily not agreeing to share her earnings no court force her to maintain her unemployed husband and in-laws unless husband is bed ridden etc.

it depends on the situation of the husband and the facts of each case, In law, there is a provision under the hindu marriage act but you have to prove yourself and judge. that you are incapable of maintaining yourself and not in a position to earn.
