Do I(NRI) need to come back to India?if FIR is filed agaist him

This is of previous Question thatnIf false FIR is filed by wife agaist husband?who stay in foreign country.Does he need to come back to India ?by force police or court?nnP

Dear Sir, Normally, Police cannot extend their hands behind this Country to arrest you. Get file Criminal Petition before High Court under Section 482 of CrPC stay of such investigation and also pray for quashing of such FIR. Your presence is not necessary when proceedings are pending before the High Court.

It is better to file anticipatory bail petition and then enter India and contest the case and get acquitted or filing for quashing of FIR in high court under section 482 crpc. do engage a lawyer he will get the certified copies of FIR and complaint, apply for anticipatory bail and quashing petition before high court.
