Do I need to pay maintenance after void marriage under special marriag

My wife filed 125, interim order passed but I want to avoid paying any maintenance (interim and final) so I want to file nullity. Our marriage was under special marriage act. Our marriage date was 17.01.2019
Under section 18 of India Divorce Act , 1869 you can move to district court or High court that filling a petition that your marriage has been declared null and void provides for the grounds for passing of such degree of nullity of marrige

if you dont pay the interim maintenance amount you will get arrested for not paying and you will not be granted bail till you make the payment,if staying in jail can be tolerated by you then dont pay or else do pay

kindly note that nullity can only be filed on some specific grounds and until then interim maintenance can only be challenged on some very limited ground. good thing is if you succeed in interim stage then there are fair chances that you would also succeed in final decree.
