Dear Sir, Supreme Court is a Constitutional Court as such there is no limitation to dispose the cases. In fact if it comes to trial it will take more and more time during trial if your son-in-law contest the case. If your daughter is in urgency go for mutual divorce or ask her to parallel divorce case in Bengaluru.

Yes, there is no time limit for clousure of of the case in Supreme Court. However you can try to get it expedited by filing necesaary application through your Advocate by giving reason for urgency. younare rightly advised, as the matter is stayed, it wont cause any damage your case. If your daughter wants to contest the case, she will get enough time. However, if your daughter also interested in obtaining divorce after taking alimony and reluctant in admitting the allegations against her, she can institute separate divorce petition on the relavent grounds.
