Divorced in USA, how to register it here

I was married in Chennai under Christian marriage act to an American citizen. We got divorced in USA. It was mutual consent. How do I register my divorce in Chennai court, is it possible or should I apply for divorce all over here again. It s been 5 years since the divorce there is zero contact with the ex spouse. Advice please

Hi you already American citizenship ? now are in India ? You will arrange for second marriage Which is Court got it order that order copy recognize or not after show it then decided such a copy you got such a order copy 5years old

You do not need to go through the entire procedure for divorce again in India. However you need to confirm the divorce order granted by the US court, in India. It is a fairly brief procedure. Your ex spouse's last known address will do.
