05-Mar-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I have been married for 3.5 years now. Initially after marriage my inlaws took all my jewellery and removed my husband and me from the house. My husband however also doesnt illtreat me well and i seek a divorce from him. Since i am the one seeking divorce, Can i file for divorce with mutual consent and still get all my jewellery and essentials back?

hi since you alone are seeking divorce, you should first file for contested divorce. if both parties are seeking divorce then it is a mutual consent divorce. you can get all the jewellery and essentials back in divorce suit itself. however law also provides you legal options such as filing 498a and DVC cases also
