Divorce while being abroad and unable to travel to India due to COVID

13-Jun-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Me and my husband have been living separately for the last 3 years and we are filing for divorce. It's a mutual decision. I am able to appear physically in the court but my husband is in Australia and cannot travel to India due to COVID restrictions. He could be available on video call. Is there any way the honorable judge could allow to proceed us in this case? What are our options? Religion - Hindu

If your husband is living abroad and unable to come physically before Court then you may ask Your lawyer to seek permission from the court to make him appear virtually. Also amid lockdown courts are anyway functioning virtually in Delhi. Please inquiry about your city from your concerned lawyer. For any further legal assistance please feel free to contact Thanks
