First find if the appeal is filed within 90 days or beyond that, if it is filed after 90 days he need to file a delay condonation petition and by money draining it can be as emotional boundary. as it is dismissed by the lower court you have already won the case by ur side. he need to prove in hight court and win the case, by the way if you can fight for money draining you can file a suit for defamation by proving that allegations are false and you can file for litigation costs also. if you are willing to file a case against him then ask clearly to advocate about fee and costs about this case.

hi first need to see the stage of the appeal and that the grounds in the petition and then you could engage advocate to represent on your behalf and could contest the case on merits and defend the case

Your position is legally strong—the dismissal of his divorce petition clearly indicates lack of merit. ⚖️ What you should do now: 1. Contest the Appeal firmly File a detailed counter in the appellate court highlighting that: The trial court has already examined evidence and dismissed the case No new grounds or substantial error exists

If the husband has filed an appeal after dismissal, the case will be re-examined only on legal grounds. A weak case in trial court usually remains weak in appeal. Strongly contest the appeal through a lawyer and file a detailed counter,An appeal does not mean he will win—it’s only a second scrutiny. Focus on proper representation and recovery of your legal costs.
