Divorce on grounds of infertility

25-Jan-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hello, I'm recently married just 1yr passed. We were trying to have child from past 1yr and it didn't happen. I tested my sperm analysis and found issue within me. May i know will this be a ground for my wife to take divorce and if it is then am i eligible for any alimony to be given. I'm physically fit and our sexual life is good

unlike impotency, infertility cannot be grounds for divorce. it was stated by the bombay High court that it cannot be the grounds for seeking divorce and since it's not the ground for taking divorce you cannot claim for alimony as well.

Dear Sir, Never jump to a Judgement by yourself. There are medical experts who can suggest you to get a child of your own. Till then to disclose your impotency to anybody including your wife. She may be misled to file divorce case on such ground.
