Divorce just on marriage date because bride refused to come after

There is marriage of my friend, but bcoz of some reason there were family clashes and she didn't went to grooms house once marriage is over, rituals were performed. Does marriage still be considered valid, and divorce need to filed
yes it has to be filed properly before the court of law and divorce needs to be taken if both the parties are ready to take divorce they can approach to the court by mutual divorce and if not then one of the party has to file a contested divorce petition
