Divorce husband and wife are 2years separate

Hi lawrato,ni went dubai in 2020, after going to work. my wife quarreled with my mother(55y) and gone to her mother's home. I didn't call her after going to her mother's home & she didn't call me. after 8 months she filed a case in the police station and came back to my home. 5months afte my wife beat my mother and went to her mother's home and then filed a case. nmy question is i am staying here in gulf country from last two years am I eligible to apply for divorce in Hindu law ( if husband and wife are separated for two years?)

hi yes you are elgible for divorce on the groumds of mental and phyiscal cruelty caused to you and your family members and can file for divroce and if she is ready to give divorce then you could apply also for mutual divorce petition

yes you can apply for Divorce. according to ur case facts stated in the query it seems that your wife intentionally committed the acts of abuse and left to her parents home. all these acts are intentional.
