Divorce from wife who is a US citizen

Hi,greetings. I'm US citizen living in India since Nov2015.In US, my wife&son moved from me on 5th July2014.Now I have to stay in India due to my father's major illness.Can I get divorce? My wife doesn't want to live in India.Pl answer me.Thank you very much in advance.

First of all where is your marriage happened? second thing if you are staying in India since 2015 then you are permanent residence of India. yes you can file separate petition before the appropriate court.

Yes, you can mutually consent divorce in India because you are living in India. And then file divorce Petition before district court. You should decided how custody your child. After 7 years child can with father his custody.
