DIVORCE FROM WIFE ON BASIS OF MENTAL AND PHYSICAL TORTURE

14-Aug-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I have been married for 3 years and have a 9 month old child out of this marriage. My mother passed away just one month after my marriage. My wife has been abusive and physically beating me and father physically . Not giving him food, throwing away his belongings, not allowing him to use house things ( this house belongs to my father not me). She threw hot tea on my father twice. On an extreme, she once tried to set fire on my father's bed while he was sleeping. I recorded all this and then she doused it off. He was under the influence of his medication and kept sleeping. We called the police and filed the complaint . I tried to make her understand but with no avail. She started using foul language and threatening msgs to my sisters and my brother in laws, as a also stopped coming. last night she threw water on my father and hit him and me with wipers many time. we filed a complaint. please help we are victims of her and need protection and Divorce.

This is a sheer case of abuse and harassment and definitely a ground for divorce. We can file a divorce petition on the ground of cruelty and showing the abusing nature of the wife, we can even seek for child custody. Further we can also filed a criminal complaint against her on behalf of your old aged father. For any further legal assistance please feel free to contact

Thanks

the facts of your case amply make out a case for divorce. however, materials and evidence in support of what you have said will be helpful. a petition for divorce in your case will be filed on grounds of cruelty.
