Divorce from physically/emotionally abusive mentally sick wife ?

My wife tortured me verbally physically and emotionally for past 6 months. She is highly critical of my actions and words. We lived in abroad and i couldn't handle her as kept physically assaulting me , i came to India few days during covid. Now without her knowledge i escaped out of India. We have 2 kids , i know i shouldn't have done this but i had no other choice. Now is it possible to file divorce ? What are the options available to me . She is mentally sick and destructive character, never likes to see being happy.
