Divorce fake document matrimonial issue

I left matrimonial home & filed IPC 498 case on husband, While filing 498 I submitted husband salary slip to police station. In this I modified salary amount of husband & shown high amount. Now husband filed case under IPC 420 for forged document submitted. Please let me know whether modify salary amount come under IPC 420? Can I go for Quash FIR because of wrong IPC?

From the basic facts given. This seems like a fit case for quashing as the salary slip is in no way connected to a 498A case as it is under the criminal procedure code. You have a good case for quashing of the case. More details are required to effectively guide you in this regard.

Dear Madam, It is not a big offence and does not attract Section 490. Your husband might have managed the Police and got issued FIR. You may go for quashing. Investigation was not held in respect of your 498A case. Thus, both cases are yet to be investigated as such your husband ought not to have filed such complaint prematurely.
