Divorce decree if marriage is registered in some other state

I reside in UP and my marriage is registered in Delhi. I want to file for mutual consent divorce. Can i file the divorce petition in Delhi as my marriage is registered in Delhi

yes, you can file mutual divorce in delhi... you can contact us for any kind of legal help. You both have to visit court 2 times and if you engaged us than your lot of time saves as we collect your sign from your home also....

The couple can file for a mutual divorce in the Family Court of the city where the couple resided together for the last time, i.e. their matrimonial home or where the marriage was solemnized or where the wife is currently residing.

Yes. since your marriage is registered in delhi. on that sole basis of the document, you can file a divorce petition. since it's a mutual consent divorce, it will be easily admissable. Other documents also need to be seen for relying on the ground of territorial jurisdiction.

Hi. Yes you can file your mutual consent divorce in Delhi. I am guessing you could get it registered here in Delhi as one of the parties has/had address proof in Delhi or your marriage location was Delhi. Please contact for further discussion.
