Dispute over hearing date in case of mutual divorce

07-Sep-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hi we had applied for mutual divoce in month of March and the hearing date was 9th. But our lawyer said the court would be taking the case on 7th today and again once we went there they again said.....as the judge is on vacation, it's shifted to incharge court and the date is on 10th.....now my wife is not ready for the date as she is making ready herself for an onsite for another one year. What are the other options available.??

Respected As you told, it is the mutual consent case. Therefore both parties to the case and their presence is required. The Mutual Consent case is having limited time. Within 18 month if no progress is happens, the the case automatically stand dismiss. Therefore, request the advocate for adjustable relevant date. Apart from this, you have not mentioned that is the conciliation period is over or nor. Contact your advocate

Hi....you can request the court to call your case on earlier dates and if it is mutual consent you both can claim for waiving of eating period by that you can get the divorce very early... Thank you.
