Deposit amount recovery related.

We stay in rented house and my husband paid the deposit of 70k. Now we don't live together anymore. He is harassing me to pay bck 70 k as I stay in that place and he doesn't. Inspite of the fact that all the stuffs inside the house is purchased alone my me . Please help.

file a case of domestic violence and take protective orders not to communicate or have contact with you, not to harass you, you can also claim maintenance and other protective orders from the court, you will get immediate orders and even the police can help you in this matter if he is threatening or harassing you, you can also file a 498 A criminal case against him.

You both are still husband and wife and you are still residing in that house. if you are paying the rent you have a right to reside in that house. you have not stated the manner in which he is harassing you, and what is the help that you are asking for.
