Custody of my child after divorce

child born in 2023 due to some issues i m mutual divorced. The name of my child is not written in birth certificate but the name written in divorce decree was decided by my inlaws i want to change name that is written in divorce decree.is it a long procedure to change . I dont want to mention name of my child's father in birth certificate is that possible

You could change the name of your Son as a single mother. As a single mother you are allowed to not write the name of your former husband. There is landmark judgment of Supreme Court of India on this fact.

You can change the name of child at any moment with the help of SDM office and official Gazettation for further details please call me will update you step by step even father name can be excluded or u can come to chamber in Saket court

it is possible to take the custody of child and remove the father of child from the documents as per order of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. The process of change of name is simple , you just need to have an affidavit with and publish in two newspapers , one local and one national daily and then get it published in Gazette.
