Crpc 125 maintainence case stay

Wife has filed two cases, 498a and 125. Can I file a application in 125 case under article 20 ( self incrimination) of Indian constitution. And stay the proceedings of 125 until 498a is proved. Pls advise and explain.

You cannot stay the proceedings of maintenance case the best you can do is start paying the maintenance this will help you in your section 498A case moreover section 125 is not a criminal case this is a civil matter
