What is court fees and stamp fees for maintenances sir.how much it will be Thank u for answering my below question. My hus filed divorce case against me. I m going to file for maintenance n interim.his salary 80k+. My lawyer asking me to pay his one third salary in court as advance to apply for the petition and its refundable.that is 33k. And to apply interim he told to pay 10k.Is it true. Total 43k. Do i need to pay his 1/3rd salary in court in advance in order to apply maintenance n interim maintenance. After discussion with you all my lawyer said its court fees n stamp fees. Which is 43k n its refundable. Is it true.

no court fees is not that much court fees will maximum be Rupees100 and not you are getting misguided by your lawyer please understand whatever your lawyer is saying ask him to write in his letter head and then you can see his reaction you must change your lawyer before getting into problem

yes Court fees is there which is to be paid but i dont think this some may in know your jurisdiction and the Court in which your case is running then I can say you in details as per Court to Court it varies
